Welcome

Harrell Carter, JMC NAACP Branch President
Thank you for visiting the Jackson-Madison County Branch of the NAACP. We are striving to build a strong, multi-racial community that supports the founding principals of our organization.
We want to include your hopes and dreams for all people in our city, county, and surrounding areas. We want to work together to further ideals set forth when the NAACP was founded in 1909. However, we want to grow and build an organization that is in stride with the technology and the thought processes of today’s leaders.
The NAACP is the oldest civil rights organization, but we can learn to build liaisons with others using today’s methods. We hope you will work with us and take up the mantle as we move forward in this era.
Visit throughout the site and learn all about how we are building bridges and holding hands with our community and throughout the country.
